Always use as dale said on feeders with leg kits. Works on the wench up feeders also. Use 14’ legs if making wench up feeder. That will put timer motor a little higher than 6’

Like a couple others have said, I build mine with 14 ft legs and 22.5 degree angle.

I don't know the measurement but the angle you need is 22.5. I have built a bunch of them and that has worked perfectly on them all.

I just use T-Post to tie to the legs and make it stable against cows and pigs...
