Beautiful buck! I had no idea he was killed. He was well-known in our neighborhood as a buck that was 100% nocturnal. I wonder how the hunter got a legal shot off?

You can tell it was shot a night by the color of the blood. Blood that is exposed to sunlight as it exits the body darkens then stabilizes color. This blood retained its bright red color before it stabilized.

I know where it came from. Point is it's all hear say and right now there are multiple stories out of this deer. Nobody knows the facts yet and if they do they haven't shared!
