I've never experienced anything like this but yes, motion sickness is the word for it. Darn little trees! Lol. The wind is going all directions right now. I'm just holding on.

I remember my first morning hunt in Illinois. BIL put me almost 30' up and the wind kicked up I thought that tree was gonna bend over and touch the ground a couple times, since I was sitting all day I ended up getting down and doing it Texas style with a brushblind

Good luck. You picked a heck of a place to go on your first solo hunt! Hopefully you get a shot at a good deer.

I finally had to jump out of that tree. I'm not sure if it was the wind, the rain or the sway but 4 hours was good enough for me. Headed back to camp for a couple hours till this wind/rain passes. Let's hope the afternoon will be better.

Slipping isn't technically falling, is it? Lol

Wind has laid down, looks like the rain has passed... I have napped. Time to grab our gear and head back out.

                                Here deer, deer, deer....
