However, it is all about the lines and the way dogs are bred. Fact. The same goes for the pit lines that are bred to fight not making good pets. Same for labs. Pet lines and show lines are very different than English field/hunting lines.

My Rottweiler actually caught up with a grown bobcat in a dry creek bed right behind my house here about two years ago. I had the pictures of the bobcat on facebook. It didn't last long at all Rottie rushed in and grabbed the cat, and crushed it. My Rottie weighs about 165 pounds. I checked him over afterwards and there was only one little claw puncture on top of his head. He made a mushy mess out of the cat. I also have a little female Staffordshire that weighs about 45 pounds now, and after seeing her go after a hog, I'm sure she could take a bobcat pretty easy.
