I remember that was in Austin awhile back. Those 2 pits were tree huggin house dogs. 1 was young and the other was an old, out of shape and overweight liberal! They didn't stand a chance.
2 red meat eatin game dogs from out in the country might have faired much better.
That being said.......if I was betting...my $ would be on the cat.
Pit wins but pays for it. Intestines may be dragging but I think it will be too late for the cat. These dogs are really strong and when adrenaline takes over there's no stopping them. Just my opinion and yes I know how fast pt the cats are.
My neighbors Pit killed a bobcat about 3 weeks ago. She got scratched up a little and bitten a couple of times. I think she liked it by the way she was acting afterwards.
Pit would make easy work of a bobcat. Bite strength major advantage and they may lack is speed but there strength is overwhelming. Not saying they won't take some damage.
