I didn't see a mention of her saying she had video evidence.

I never heard of the video, but one of her friends has released text messages that the girl was setting up an investigation with other survivors that saw multiple shooters

The more i read.. the more im wondering if there isnt more to this....
based strictly on testimony of family of this guy, his background (as reported), and his history , the type of weapon being reported as used, the amount of firearms in the room, and swat finding him dead in the room... there is plausible case to be made for a patsy.
BUT... the venue being a casino in vegas... there are cameras EVERYWHERE.. this should be pretty easy to disprove...

There are more cameras than just whats in the hotel/casino, every street, sidewalk, alley, parking lot, all angles, all heights, all directions, if you dont want to be caught doing something in vegas...dont go inside city limits.
His entire trip will be well documented..and made into a mini-movie.
And Anyone going near that room is going to be on video..and their whole trip to vegas documented as well..
LOT of data going to have to be gone through ..this is not going to be a quick and easy investigation...

Going to much more difficult to suppress or stop leaks of all the sources of video in Vegas...that being said im surprised we havent seen any yet

I am pretty sure it gets changed more than your speculation on what transpired
