Active shooter or shooters in Vegas

On the theory that someone else may have shot him...I find it strange how his legs and feet are positioned in this picture. Especially how his left foot is laying underneath the rifle on the bipod. It seems if he fell from a standing position, he would not be laying that straight and his foot wouldn't have nicely settled under that rifle. He wouldn't have done it sitting down while sitting on a rifle. Also, his left hand appears to be gripping the AR handle underneath him. I just can't figure how he would come to lay like that if he shot himself.

But I also can't imagine how anyone else would have escaped, so I'm lost.

With head shots a person will most times thrash around a bit.

Actually... I think he may have been laundering money. Listened to a 25 min presser his brother gave and it just didn't make sense. He kept talking about how wealthy the entire family was and it was all because of Stephen. Stephen never had more than a slightly above average job income wise. So what does an accountant do to accumulate that much wealth and keep it coming in to live the sort of lifestyle his brother maintained (hin: it's not from risking it all at casinos, especially slot machines).

Since we are all into wild theories here- he was laundering money for ISIS, flowing money out of the states and they needed him dead for one reason or another and so they killed 2 birds with one stone and had a deadly shooting and eliminated him all at once.

I know a guy in Houston that went from selling used cars to being a millionaire on the poker circuit
All he does is play poker now all over the world

I'd imagine he could be up a few million today
But Monday morning I might pick up the tab at Whataburger

I think it was reported that there a gun mounted tripod at each window and one was angled at the aviation fuel depot while the other was angled at the concert

He did not have anything in that room that would have shot through those tanks unless he had something more than being reported. Those tanks are a lot thicker than people realize. Plus, jet fuel is basically kerosene. Not much he could have done there. He should have done his homework on that idea.

I agree on the money laundering. Read somewhere his income from 2015 was over $5 million, with majority being gambling related. He is one of the worlds best gamblers if he profited that much, especially as often as he played. Not buying it. Cleaning illegal cash, getting paid in cash?

It's not hard to earn $5million in a year when it's on record at the casinos that you would win $250k on any given night

Exacrly^^^ more than a few nuts on this thread. Crime scene experts, ballistic experts, hammer experts, mental health experts.....wondering how many suicide scenes these people have worked to know about body positioning and blood spatter/leakage. I dont know why it’s so hard to accept that he carried a **** load of guns and ammo into a hotel room with a view of static targets across the street, broke out a window and starting inflicting as much carnage as possible. Is that really so hard to comprehend when we see people go bat **** crazy everyday. I guess people want to believe that it’s something other than what it was because the truth is boring sometimes and a good conspiracy theory is more exciting. Smh

The NRA's current position on the bump stock is....."total amazement when approved by the Obama administration, they should be outlawed and confiscated." And GOP will introduce the legislation to this.

Wether you like the bump-stock current legality or not, this is a brilliant angle / comment for the NRA to have made under the crazy circumstances...I personally thought they would have mentioned 'should have been made NFA via the O admin", but maybe they are trying to keep this area out of the limelight?? For sure the bumpy toy was an immediate sacrificial lamb regardless.

I never could see a use for the bump stocks and trigger gadgets due to their not being accurate, but the LV shooter sure found a use for them. Tragic day for the country, but we were very lucky he wasn't a well trained shooter. A well trained shooter would have easily doubled the number of fatalities using a bolt action rifle.

Question, why in the world was there no return fire to the 32nd floor ????!

You are entitled to your opinion but Can you give me one example of when the American people have not been grossly mislead concerning these types of situations of incidents?? When the details emerge there is ALWAYS more to these stories..

A) venue was a no gun zone
B) no one knew where the shots originated till it was almost over
C) shooting at an elevated position that many stories up, with a handgun , would be extremely inaccurate and irresponsible...
D) he apparently was set back in the rooms, which also helped hide muzzle flash.
E) don't know for sure that didn't happen.

Dallas PD officers shot at the BLM rally last year. Multiple reports of more than one shooter, turns out, one shooter.....the American people were not grossly mislead on that incident. I haven’t had time to read through every post on this thread, I don’t have the time or the patience. I’m just saying there’s a bunch of speculating on trying to dissect the mind of a madman and sometimes, some men just like to watch the world burn. Im sure his adrenaline kicked in and he made some mistakes in executing his plan to the fullest but the simplest answer is usually correct.

Elevation and distance would prevent most officers from accurately returning fire at or near the window because if you hit above or below and hit the 33rd or 31st floor, you’re risking hitting people in those rooms if they’re occupied and we are responsible for every bullet, even in a chaotic situation like Vegas.

cops ambushed, churches shot up , the california shooting, the multiple attacks in europe,,the republican baseball game. the 3guys arrested in new york planning attacks and guess what one of them is from the philippines, huh wow this guys girl friend is from there and gone back with 100 grand. jeez wake the hell up !!!!
