What they r saying sounds good. 4-6 hrs. But next time instead of taking pictures u should be launching arrows when u have a wounded deer in that situation. U owe it to that animal. Times have changed.

He said that the deer was 50 yards out in the picture. I bet he's not comfortable shooting at that distance, I know I'm not. The deer is already dead it's just the dying that's taking a minute..

I’d bet he’s not far from where you saw him, and probably expired fairly soon. From the pic the shot didn’t look too bad. Was he broad side? Quartered away?

When you run out of limbs, head quickly to your sedan and floor it in the bucks direction hoping to run over him to ensure a terrible, quick death.
