    Yep, a gentleman i knew was killed a while back by that exact thing.

      Wow. That's is scary. I am cautious around the four I touch.
      But those ladders are a little treacherous in the sandy soil too.
      Stand and fills are definitely preferable

        I hunted with a guy that got killed winching a feeder up that was attached to a tree limb. The limb broke.

            Obviously not many buzzards around ---

            Three of my winch-ups are 32-gal galvanized trash cans so much less weight involved, and I NEVER walk under them. The other 55-gal feeder will become a 32-gal can as well if it rusts out before I retire from hog hunting

                About 2 days . Wife forgot to tell me she killed it. Buzzards work him over pretty good.

                  Only thing left was the leg. Buzzards cleaned him up pretty fast . Wife forgot to tell me when she killed it.
