    Winch up feeder reminder

Don’t stand under them . Just topped it off . Winched it up . Test spun my new motor and timer . Was walking back to the truck and this happened .
Chain link broke . Was rusted through.

Glad you are okay. Feeder and chain can be fixed.

I already fixed it. Feeder is the my back pasture. Had 2 more winch up set ups. Just changed it out . Straightening out the box. It did bend my spin Tec shaft so it ain't coon proof right now

Exactly why I change my cables out every other year. I had that happen twice.

Man, thank goodness for the rust. It appears that is what is holding the remainder together. Be careful.

So where did it fail? Cable broke? Pulley? Weld failure?

Yes sir. Had a weld break on one of mine a few years ago, I never walk under them now.
