But if he is 13" wide than he is your trophy buck for that county if AR County.
    Are you sure?

I do see where the gray area falls. I'll ask the warden friend and get his interpretation.

Geez, the guy or gal asked a question, either answer it or move on...No need to jump on him...Appears your question has been answered, good luck!

Your correct! I went back and checked. Very clear and you described it perfectly! Then again you can't take more than 1 buck 13" wide in AE county

            This is NOT true.

I am working on a pic. I just wasn't 100% and didn't want him shooting the wrong deer.

                      Hmmmmmmm

I can argue that. You can NOT take more than one buck with an inside spread of 13" or greater in an county where AR are in effect.

                        Read the last sentence

A spike can be 30" wide and in AR counties does not count as your deer with a 13" or greater spread. It counts as your deer with an unbranched antler

Read the sentence above the bold sentence. Deer with an unbranched antler doesn't count.

I see that and the sentence before it. I guess it can go both ways depending on your GW. Heck there are GW out there letting hunters go with deer that have a spread inside 13". It's confusing stating what a legal buck is and then previous statement in the book saying "but only ONE" can have a 13" spread. Unbranched antler does not apply so I do see that. Parting with you the more I read it! It's Monday and season opens Saturday! Hurry up wknd!

Either way a spike with main beams like mentioned has to be an old deer! I want to see it. It will help clear up all of this.
