Hiking/ snake boots

Well let's say worst case scenario happens, how far from an emergency room am I? I'm willing to chance it, lol

About 30-40 minutes to Childress. Another hour or so to Amarillo.

Before I bought my chips I used these with hiking boots:

They stay put pretty easy, but you can lace thru them from your boots to secure them.

I have snake guards that I put on over my jeans and wear hiking boots. I've got a bad ankle and need the extra support a hiking boot provides. I've got the scentblocker snake guards from cabelas, and they have a stirrup type strap that goes under your boot so that they don't ride up. I like them.
