Caribou Hunt

I have only been on a few trips like this, but absolutely this is one I would like to do again. The caribou are not really in a migration so they are moving in all different directions. Sometimes feeding, sometimes walking, sometimes bedding down. They seem to be just spooky enough, combined with the open country to make it a real challenge with a bow. But at the same time it is definitely manageable.

Did you hunt in Nunavut/Manitoba or somewhere else?

We hunted about 1.5 flight time north of Yellowknife in the northwest territories. So quite a bit further north and west from where you hunted. There wasnt much migration at all while we were there but all 10 hunters were able to get both of their caribou.
