Rage Trypan, trying something I don't normally do.

I ordered a pack just to try. My Carbon Spyder is paper and broadhead tuned where my broadheads hit within an inch of my field points so not doing this for any reason other than to try them out and see what we get. I shoot Hartcraft broadheads and they've performed very well for me on the last 4 deer I've taken on our lease up to a 140 class deer.

    Anyone else bought a pack?

Im gonna try to bust something with em too bud. They look well made. I shot a deer last year with a rage hypo and the blood trail was massive.

I'll hopefully be running one through a pronghorn this weekend.

I'm stuck between trypans and afflictors. Can't decide which to try. Trypan looks stronger, I like the deployment of afflictors.

Wait your Hartcraft's didn't fall apart on impact? I never recovered one with all 3'blades still intact except one lil thumper i killed a turkey with

I've killed 5 pigs with them. They work great just like any other quality head with a well placed shot.

I did a podcast with the lead engineer from faradyne outdoors last week and we talk about the new trypan and changes rage has made over the years

I bought a pack last week...I'm hoping I have enough KE for them to work properly...60# @ 28", 450 grain arrow at 257 fps. I'm going to try them out on a coyote or a hog before I try to stick a deer with them.

I'm taking them elk hunting in 10 days. We'll see how they do!

I am trying them out this year, never was a fan of the old collars but I like the design of the new ones

You got plenty. I've used less and my dad still uses less and gets complete pass through on every animal he shoots

His setup is 380 gr at 250fps

My setup is 430 grain Maxima Red at 297 FPS out of my Carbon Spyder. Yeah can't wait to smoke a doe with one.

No sir, we're yours the latest design with the o ring on the ferrule? I heard about alot of issues with the earlier heads. These were all taken with Hartcrafts. Of course shot placement is king with any broadhead that performs as it was designed.

Nice Bucks. Brindle dogs make me smile.
I'm not real smart so I lean to broadheads with no moving parts, my compound bow is really too complicated too. I should shoot a recurve, but I'm too uncoordinated to hit anything.
