I always get a real nice lady with the exception of that day, I got polar opposite. She was an unbelievable ***** from the get go. She wound up going so far over board she stood up and told me to leave the TPWD office. I was shocked at her behavior. I called and filed a formal complaint. I was more shocked when I received a call from the Houston area Captain. He said he reviewed the office video and apologized on behalf of TPWD for her behavior. He said corrective measures were in place for this person. So always remember they have video at each of the TPWD windows and hold them accountable.
Was it the older lady?Close to 60yrs old? In Garland?

No this was the one in southwest Houston. Its bad when they get so rude we are labeling them geographically.

True..She's been there since I was a kid,and always been the same.I asked her 3 times what the heck a pencil scan was before I got an answer. She rolled her eyes after she explained it.I haven't done a pencil scan on anything since the 3rd grade!lol

So, it wasn't just me? I bought a boat almost 2 years ago and had to deal with her. She's a piece of work.

Yea the guy who bought my boat said they made him do the same thing. The one in Aldine has never asked for that when I go over there.

I would have just done the pencil scan on the **** thing and when she asked, "What's this?" I would have said, "Exactly what you told me to do!" It's not my fault the BOAT MANUFACTURER put a sticker instead of a stamped HIN!

Last boat I bought several years ago I had to do the pencil scan. I and the owner that was selling both went to TPWD office with what I thought was all the correct paperwork and the titles. They had me go out to the parking lot and do the pencil scan.

I ended up drawing the sweet hispanic lady, and she said the printed pics of the vin #'s were fine.
I didn't know I would be fined for not registering it sooner.I bought it mid April, and fined twenty something $.I should've never dated the bill of sale..I was taxed on that too!lol
Glad it's over..Toledo Bend has been calling my name.
