Y’all boys might try still hunting today. Won’t be much movement in this crazy wind but conditions are ripe for sneaking up in one...

Weather makes it easier to miss the weekend for work.

No movement here so far. Wind doesn't seem like it's letting up

Yeah this wind is frickin’ insane. And it’s definitely making the deer crazy.

The honey do list was a little long today, but I'll be out there tomorrow. This little cool front should have them moving.

my target cull buck came in about 5:50 for 10 mins. Just dark enough to where I couldn't see any pins when I drew back.
He'll slip up again.

Thinking I may have to miss class Monday morning and go hunt with what the weather predictions are for Polk county.

Deer were moving this morning. Saw around 20 different deer including a 140 class 10 point. Does are grouped back up and bucks walking through them hoping to find one not bred yet then on the move again.

I saw one little buck about 3:45. Nothing else.
I thought today would have been a good day with the front we had. Guess not.

Decided to not be a hunter and become a birdwatcher, because I hate failure and I seem to be good at watching birds.
