I would say a vast majority of folks do, mostly due to lifestyle choices. There are exceptions to this.

I’ll let you know next year when I turn 40 if my levels go sub 300
👍 Very good reasonable answer to RR’s statements. But RR has some very good points made in todays timeframe.

i enjoyed the benefits, but for my own personal circumstances I am done. So my own words of caution are to reap the benefits, but monitor your PSA.
Thanks for sharing your journey on this TT and how it affected your PSA results, your actions taken. As mentioned by many when taking TT it is a must to perform necessary medical tests. I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer (early diagnosis) last year and with the treatment I chose was radiation therapy and usually hey have hormone therapy along with radiation as I understand it to keep your testosterone low. I took a new genetic test to see if I needed the hormone therapy along with radiation. The results came back that hormone therapy wouldn’t be needed thank goodness.
But as we know everyone has their own choices to make and I have people I know that do TT and it has been fantastic per their statements. A couple of them I know the that took TT was so good for them it contributed to cost them a marriage due to venturing out(Their words). I have never had TT. Sorry for being so long winded.

There's a little more to the venturing out then just Test Therapy I'm sure Terry. Maybe the significant other wasn't give any up anymore. I take 1ml of 200mg test once a week and life is great. It's been a game changer for me. My numbers were in the low 100s before I started and now I'm just under 1000. I do go in every 3 months for blood work to check my levels and red blood count.

I am making an assumption that many taking this therapy are in a younger generation than I am. Seems to be a prevalent condition in younger men. I have to wonder why. My testosterone level sometime between 2021 and 2022 was 532. I am 71 years old. In 2015, while going through prostate cancer treatments, I was injected with Lupron to drive it down. Not fun. It came back fairly quickly after the Lupron stopped. Terry, I'm glad you didn't have to deal with the hormone treatment.

Thanks for sharing and I personally don’t know what path has to be taken to start and continue the TT. I bet you do feel like a different person as several members on here have shared the same results you have. I looked up my testosterone results were 386 in 9/24 prior to the radiation treatments, this was the first time I can recall having it checked.

Thanks for sharing also and I have heard it does have its downsides of the Lupron as you have stated.

Anyway, I got on the shots. Honesty, it caused more issues than it did good. My blood pressure skyrocketed, my hemoglobin went through the roof requiring me to give blood to regulate it, and I didn’t feel any different. Same energy level. Same sex drive.
Curious why'd you get on the shots if no symptoms?

I've been low 200's almost into high 100's since early 30's. Back then I was squatting 315 to the floor for reps and got my deadlift up to 475 and I was lean 185 lbs. I wanted it tested because the gym bro duh, doc asked about symptoms and I had none so he said no. I didn't argue, didn't want to be on something for the rest of my life just for some lifting stats. Fast forward I'm close to 50 and the same low 200's and nothing's changed except I may be a little more grumpy now but that could be just being jaded lol.

I think a lot of guys just get on because the numbers say they should without any real reason and I'm not sure that's always the best move. I'm still holding out, if the Weiner ever gets lazy I'll be standing in line before the doors open to get my fix.

A very good point. If your number is your number and you are asymptomatic then that number is likely normal for you. When the wiener is as flat as schnitzel, though, you should consider it a symptom.
