From one of my fishing trips this spring. Two separate batches of channel catfish. Not bragging but I have caught loads and loads of channel cats over the years. The OP's picture is definitely a channel cat also.

Flatheads are not mudcats by the way. That's a Texas thing.

Mudcat... the ones I've caught were in non flowing creeks or stagnant water pits

Seen plenty of channels that color... but need better pic of tail to be 100% but prety sure thats a channel
