Well so much for this trip. Freakin center part that holds the gas tank and motor decided to come apart at highway speeds. Thank God it didn't completely let go into traffic behind me. She is fully covered under insurance and claim already submitted. Doubt they fix it but who knows I'm betting they total it because the beams under that hold it up are all messed up.

How's the crowd there at Typhoon Texas on Saturdays?

I'm taking family out to Port Lavaca this afternoon, we'll see what the storms are doing in that area before we head out.

          Good luck this afternoon.

Yeah, I was so bummed out. But just thankful was able to get it home and no one hurt. Insurance claims rep is supposed to contact me Monday and just go from there. If they fix it, great. If not, I'm going to switch to something else. The pontoon is pretty combersom to haul and operate.

Cajun thunder corks have worked pretty good for me. Prefer to fish free line live bait or throw plastics. But most of the bigger trout I have caught were popper and gulp.
