They cut a chunk off some small barrel looking cactus, skinned it and ate it raw. They called it prickly pear and were surprised it didn't taste like melon.

Hill country would be easy. Pretty sure I could live on rabbits in south Texas or hill country with a rock. Cool nights.
Only thing scary would be ticks.
South Texas could be brutal in the summer . Hot days and hot nights.
And thorns all over your naked body.
And lots of strangers walking around at night.

It really was a joke of an episode. Most of us on TBH would have been able to do that with better results. The guy lost 30# in 21 days!!! I'd like to be on that show just for the weight loss
