    Maui Jim Customer Service

    We hear so much about Bad Customer Service, just want to give a Thumbs Up to Maui Jim.
    Sat on my Banyans, broke the ear piece.
    Sent them in last week (cost 10 bucks)with a note telling them what a dumb azz I am.
    Got them back today,
    Two new earpieces, Two new nose pieces and two new lenses and a new case.

    WOW, That's Great service......

    Way to go MAUI JIM.......

    Glad to hear this, as I broke mine about 6 months ago and just found them in a drawer. Will send in this week.

        Wish I had saved the only pair I ever bought. Some stray dogs got ahold of them after I set them down to work on machinery. Found 'em the next day several hundred feet down a field, chewed up.

              i sent two pair in to maui jim about a month ago. one of which I had scratched the lenses. I was prepared to pay the 70.00 for new lenses. They called me two days later and asked when I bought the scratched pair....I told them about a year ago but I never did register them. They said they were covered....$10.00 to fix both pair. the other pair had a broke temple and they fix that for free. only sunglasses I will wear......

                I wear maui jim and costa sunglasses. As an experiment I sent both in for repairs on the same day. Maui Jim sent me an email that they received them two days later and the next day had them back in the mail to me repaired. Costa took over a week to acknowledge that they received them and I didn't get them back for over two weeks. Now I only buy Maui Jim's.

                  I had the opposite from Costa. Had a broken ear piece. Sent them in expecting to replace just that one part. At no cost to me, they replaced the entire frame. Just swapped my lenses in the new frames.

                    just had a missing nose piece on my Maui's. Called them Friday and they sent me new ones free of charge. Got shipping notifications the next day. Great customer service.

                      Maui Jims Rock! I remember when they first opened in Lahaina Maui and the owner hooked us boat tour guides with some free pairs. I had those for years and they still did the same repair as you got. Now their prices are set but news like this is why they still keep on getting business. Good for them.

                        I have 3 pairs of the ka anapali's the titanium frameless kind and they all broke at the eye piece and I contacted maui jim and they said saen us $80.00 a pair and we will repair them , I said I have almost 900.00 in your product that you discontinued to design flaw and they wont make right by them, I will stick with bolle , Oakley, ray ban, or any of the other brands of sunglasses that I own but not MAUI JIM

                          Maui Jim Is the only brand of sunglasses that I will buy due to quality and customer service.
                          I just wish they would make the HOKU again. They were my favorite pair ever.

                            HUGE fan! I've paid that fee a few times over the years. Only glasses that I have found better are Persol.

                              I will be looking into this I'm a costa owner have had 2 pair and won't buy again. IMO customer service stinks.
