Well, I can tell you if that would have been MY cornfield, there's a good reason you never saw her again!

I'm not in Gonzales and this year's the first time I had corn in many years, but it's almost a certain bad ending for a coon in my wife's garden...

I've worked for a vet for 15 yrs. just remember they do Carrie rabies.

This is 1000% true. I've got a buddy who got bit by a coon that had rabies. It was a wild coon and not a pet. But I would imagine a pet coon that lives outside could still pretty easily contract the virus.

The odds of finding one that is not destructive is about the same as finding a fan that thinks the Rangers have a great team this year. Of course there will always be at least one.

Buddy had a male coon when we were kids and he was just like a dog. He'd follow us around, play with us. When it got older it got to where it was moody and would bite the heck out of you.

My cousin in Utopia has one though that she had fixed when it was still little. I think that coon is 7 or 8 years old and is just like an old dog. Friendly, sits in your lap and watches TV with you, rides around with her in the truck lmao.

Hardest thing to get used to are the little coon hands that grab you now and then.

if female should be good, company i work for's ranch hand for our lease has had three. First was male and they had to get rid, recent they have two females both were that size... now they are about the size of a small watermelon, i see them on social media vids all the time and are very calm and good pets.

Back in the dark ages my bud brought a little one with him to UT for a couple of days and it was a chick magnet.

I had 2 about 35 yrs ago. Made great pets but they got to attached to me and would try and bite anyone else. Set them free.

My wife had one as a pet. They are fine pets

But like having a 3 yr old all the time. They will get into everything.
