I did one out of two blue plastic barrels in line with each other, the second being 6"-8" lower than the first. I ran field line out from there. Its been in place for 17 years on an old cabin.

did you use gravel in the leech lines?

I like this idea -I'd use the infiltrator type chambers with no gravel

Don't use a metal drum, it will rust out quickly. Don't ask how I know
