Clippers traded Paul in hopes that would make Griffin happy ... Griffin aint playing with Paul again.

I dont think this does much to help the Rockets chances against Golden State. He's only getting older and declining. Nevermind the fact he hasn't really operated without the ball ever.

Not a good move. Will just take away a lot of James game in my opinion. Could be completely wrong but I don't think this will mix.

          No defense in that group.

Gave up a lot for a 1 year experiment.

I did read the Rockets are still trying to swing a trade for George on top of this... I just don't see the pieces to do it.

I'm not the biggest fan of the trade. I think they gave up to much for him. That being said I'm very much looking forward to seeing how this plays out next season. Chris Paul has the potential to be the facilitator that James just wasn't. And if Paul is facilitating to Harden I think we may have something good here.

Hardin is the reason Paul is coming. They want to play together. Sounds like the Rockets are not done bringing people in

                          Chris Paul G LA Clippers .476 18.1 5.0 9.2 0.1
                          Patrick Beverley G Houston Rockets .420 9.5 5.9 4.2 0.4
                          Kawhi Leonard F San Antonio Spurs .485 25.5 5.8 3.5 0.7
                          Draymond Green F Golden State Warriors .418 10.2 7.9 7.0 1.4
                          Rudy Gobert C Utah Jazz .661 14.0 12.8 1.2 2.6

I agree CP3 may be on the decline but don't scream about no defense. May not be as ferocious as Beverly but he made the 2017 NBA All Defensive Team. His 6th straight year to make that team so he ain't too shabby on that end of the court.

Just saw something else and dont know if its true or not but supposedly Carmelo is in the process of buying out his contract with the knicks so that he can come to houston as well.

Do some of y'all even watch basketball? Paul was first team all defense, as was Patrick Beverly. Except Paul is better on offense.

That's all true, but what in the h-e-doublehockeysticks does D'Antoni know what to do with someone who actually plays defense?
