Time! No matter how much I get to go hunting, I always want more

2+ hour drives each way multiple times a week chasing ducks and geese.

Lack of sleep due to chasing ducks and geese regularly.

What flavor beer to take to the lease.

How to come up with a new, important excuse to go back to the lease for another weekend.

How to avoid weddings and other "important" events so I can hunt instead.

I didn't have any struggles till you started this thread. Now, I'm struggling with trying to find something I struggle with.

When you compare how much time I spend- year round:

*thinking about hunting
*reading about hunting
*talking about hunting
*practicing for hunting
*shopping for hunting
* preparing my set-ups for hunting

Versus - hours I spend with my butt in a stand actually hunting, it's pretty pathetic. Every year I swear I am going to spend more time at the lease but never seem to be able to do it.

You nailed it for me ! I hate those bastages ! I must admit however, that feed pens have cut hog activity waaay down in Trinity Co. for me. I'm about to do the same at my place in Rusk Co.
