    Question!

Simply a poll type question, what is something you find you struggle with during hunting season?... wether it be bird, deer, anything. Expecting some whacky answers but also looking for some serious ones, this is an experiment.

I struggle with not hunting enough. That's the main struggle. Setting too high of expectations. Lack of places to hunt (mainly waterfowl) figuring out the rut at my primary place I hunt bc it changes every year by a few weeks. That's all I got now.

Oh, I struggle staying warm in a deer stand but am always toasty in a duck blind regardless of its 15 degrees. I freeze in a deer blind if it's below 50... imagine that!

keeping my mind on work, during deer season, its something I have faced since dad introduced me to it when I was 11 y/o...
there is just something about being close to God when I am in the field, and the nature, of what he has made..

getting to the deer stand. Between professional and family obligations, at this point in my life, it is harder to get away to deer camp. Maybe when my daughter gets a bit older and I can take her, it will lessen the burden a bit.

Dove season, with a gun = no birds..... Without a gun = they are everywhere....

Getting away from work and making the 5 hr trip South.

Getting to bed at a decent hour the night before a hunt. Tend to do a bit of drinkin' at the ranch. Just a little

Hitting dove. I can shoot skeet all day but cant hit a dove for crap. I think I lead them too much but I cant train myself to quit.
