Some of the comments below his post on the Nextdoor page were a bit unhinged, e.g.: "what a horrible tragedy! Who would ever kill an animal on purpose - for any reason?!" And "the kid who did that is going to grow up and be a sadistic serial killer!" One even worried that whoever did it would start stalking and shooting kids next. Thankfully there were a few more level headed comments, e.g: "probably a kid who did a stupid thing and should pay the price. Call the Warden - this is what they do for a living".
