Many years ago,a buddy of mine killed a yearling doe by accident. He shot the momma in the neck and the yearlings head was in front of the exit. Rather than waste it,he tagged it,skinned it and marinated the whole animal in red wine and various herbs. He put the whole thing in the smoker for Super Bowl Sunday. It literally fell off the bones it was so tender.
