In Boyd there are a couple of places worth mentioning. Dos Chiles Tex-Mex is pretty good. Small place, that is a little noisy, but good food. Go-Go Gumbo is really good as well.
I should have said Go-Go Gumbo is s u p p o s e d to be good. The wife and i went there this evening. The gumbo is tasteless. The catfish was mushy and sad. I would not recommend this joint. Especially if you might be from S.E. Texas or Louisiana and know what good gumbo tastes like. It's probably successful due to lack of competition. Just my $0.02.

My wife is from Baton Rouge and she didn’t like it the first time that we went. The second time we went she had the prime rib and said that it was excellent. I had the catfish and it was good. However, if we are going for Cajun we always go to BooRays off of Boat Club Road near both Eagle Mountain and Lake Worth lakes.

        Beaumont

Jwilson's - man candy and boudin balls alone make it worth it

Buckstin Brewing - best pizza in the area by far (good beer too)

Tia Juanita's - seen this mentioned multiple times on this site

        1701 BBQ

        JW's Patio - same owner as JWilson's

        Elsa's - Greek/Italian

Mexican - any is good around here (Carmela's, La Cantina, El Viejo Tony)

        Daddio's - Burger

What about Floyd’s? We always ate there for Cajun and seafood when we were down there for work.

I prefer Judice’s (Bridge City location is better), but Floyd’s is solid as well.
