That's why I finally bought my own place, small but in good location and I can do what I want when I want. Good luck. PM if you need any LEO help.

Also we have to clear it with lease manager via email phone call or text anytime we go to the ranch not sure if that's normal or not my last lease wasn't like that

For that kind of money you shouldn't be dealing with the BS and if the lease manager cared about the place and his hunting as well he would be overly concerned just like you! But if he is collecting the money for the land owner and probably has the members paying for his spot so he hunts for free plus getting some cash from buddies or day hunts then he want care because the money is more important than the hunting or the ranch to him. The rule that you have to let him know you are going tells me he wants to know so he has his story straight if he has non members out there or you cross paths with a non member he gave access too! Since guns are involved and a bad situation could get heated quickly I would get my stuff off then bail without giving him red flags you are leaving!

Don't leave asap like everyone is saying. Fight the good fight. First lease I ever got on the lease manager was crooked as a pigs penial. We decided to cut our losses and pack our bags. As we we were loading our stuff we ran into land owner, we gave him a quick run down and he practically begged us to stay and said he was planning on sheet canning the lease manager. Had we not already put a deposit down on a new place we likely would have stayed.

One place years ago the manager was gun hunting on a bow only lease and wanted a heads up when he would have the place to himself.
Another place was a working cattle ranch and they always had crap going on, feed trailers, cattle trailers in and out, mesquite choppers rummaging around.
Our current place, it is to make sure we have enough room for guests and since we have crappy cell service there, it's also to let someone know you are there in case something happens.
We also have a full time ranch manager that may have a project or something going on that could mess up a hunt, so letting him know is a good thing for us.
Our manager is on TBH, and is a good guy with the best of intentions for the place and the hunters, so it's no big deal to send a simple text.
I sure wouldn't write off a lease just for that reason -- it really all depends on the manager's character.
