ive seen some pretty big deer but im taking the train every time in this match up.

Loaded cars weigh around 120 tons. Locomotives weigh around 200 tons depending on the engine just to give you an idea how much they weigh. Not many things fair to well against a train I know first hand.

Road engines weigh 416,000 dry weight but I'm with you not much fair well against trains. I've hit many deer, hogs, and for some reason opossums love to walk on the rail..

Hit three big charlais cows one time that was something to watch. Many of deer, dogs, pigs and a truck occupied by people kind of a helpless feeling.
