    Deer Vs. Train

So a deer jumped in front of a rolling train at work today. I work at a major lumber wholesale plant/ pressure treating plant/ industrial packaging/ concrete forming plant. We have two rail spurs that we bring in lumber through and one of our forklift drivers saw this deer and as he got closer to it , it took off and tried to jump in between moving rail cars. Needless to say, the train won.

man that is crazy..... seen more then one with 1 leg or dead.... In reality a train moves slow enough and is loud enough you wouldn't think it would happen very often.

Wonder if it is an IQ thing..... Smart deer/Dumb deer?

Would a guy use 2 tags on this one or just rip one tag in half?

I've seen a pic of after it happened to a human.

Loaded cars weigh around 120 tons. Locomotives weigh around 200 tons depending on the engine just to give you an idea how much they weigh. Not many things fair to well against a train I know first hand.

Better a half a loaf than no loaf.
