Something along those lines, he was a semi-pro UFC dueche. I just figure if he did it I could do it. I did realize I want to do something that involves public speaking last night. Too many people are afraid of it, I've never been.

I have never really thought about it. I really like the job I have now. It's just not cutting it as far as money goes. I just need a little more each month. That's why the wraps were good. I just wish they would stay more consistant.

Barbacking a few times a week will put extra cash in your pocket.
And the most $$ will be made on the weekend so it won't kill your studying.

The system does work, but you have to spend a lot of money to start making money in the system....then you have to follow strict guidelines from your up-line management. I did this in the early 1990s...started as an Amway distributor and made the conversion to Quixstar online....had a decent little group going in three states making about $300 a month from it, but probably spending three times that much in travel to rallies, workshops, and presentations for the groups.

It's too bad as the products are really pretty good...some of there cleaning stuff I haven't found a commercial replacement that could do the same...the problem is that most everything is concentrated and you end up spending more upfront for products than the average Joe you are trying to persuade to change their buying habit that shops at Walmart and sees the cheaper prices.

It's one of those life learning lessons and you really have to stoop down and become a salesman, which most folks hate to deal with.

Cameron it does work. If you'll work it. If I were you and say you wanted to make an extra 1000 a month or 10,000 a month, than I would talk to someone who makes that money in Amway, or your arrow business and find out exactly what there doing to make that kind of money. Don't take advise from someone who hasn't done what your trying to do. I think the difference is that someone in your business team in Amway will be willing to help you in any way they can to get you to that point, because they have a vested interest in you. Where as talking to someone who has an arrow wrap business will most likely view you as their competition. Also you'll find, as I did, that most business's have no residual aspects to them so as soon as you quit working the money will quit coming in but Amway has a lot of residual income involved if you are hard working and tenacious enough to get it right. I think anything someone does they will get out of it what they put into it. Amway and your Wrap business will be no different. At least if you have your own business, you are working for your own dreams and ambitions where as most employee's are working for someone else's.
Everyone's got an opinion but I wouldn't let anyone tell you that you can't do something.

Wrong! You do not have to buy any of the support material or tapes. Learn how to make the presentation and go from there. That's what we did and we made the extra cash we needed.

You do not have to go to any seminar or major functions. It's not required.

I never sold anything unless somebody wanted to buy it from me. We were our own customer though. I never encourage my team to sell products to family and friends. Just buy from yourself and for yourself. It's pretty simple.

Like I said before I applied a lot of what my support team taught me to move forward in my other business. I will agree that you need to chase your own dreams rather than somebody elses.

Ask to speak directly to the diamond of your organization. Ask a lot of questions and get direct answers. I did and those two are still my good friends today. They never lied to me.

Hate to break it too you Tracy but there plenty of information out there about the "system" fake it till you make it, J.O.B etc. Its all a scam. Yeah tell those uplines your not gonna pay for any of the standing order tapes, or go to any of the "motivational" events and see how quickly they drop you. I almost lost my brother to this scam, and it does nothing but hurt people. I know i'm a "dream stealer" i heard it all from my brother before he wised up, several thosuand poorer, but much wiser.

And there have been numerous studies that show that the products are no better than you can buy in HEB, and most are more expensive. And lastly think about it, if its so legit, why do they try to hide the fact that its Amway so much?? Its cause they have such a poor reputation.

Stay as far away from this as you can Cameron. as others have said get a second job, or cut back on expenses, but mainly get that education. There are NO shortcuts.
