Traffic from Spring Branch area to Seguin can be horrendous in the summertime--Hwy 46 is clogged with tubers, etc.
Yep, about a 45 minute drive with no traffic, probably double that in the summer with the vacationers.

Roger that. I think I'm prepared for it, I'm usually at the office by 530-600, so I'm hoping it's not too bad then.

No mornings will not be bad, its the afternoon that is a booger. With that being said its still not too bad. Nothing and I mean nothing like Houston or Austin traffic!

I commute to 1604/281. When we first moved here people would go on and on about how horrible the traffic on 281 was. Coming from Houston it was a joke. Takes about 15 minutes to get thru the traffic in the stone oak area and then its set the cruse control on 70 and kick back all the way out to the hills. I can literally feel the stress leave me as I get out in the country towards home!

I figured that will just be the price I have to pay for the improved quality of life from Midland.

It will be way worth it, and I added to my reply. See above.

Lol. I can relate, I used to drive 1 hour 15 minutes each way when I lived in Houston. I imagined driving home through the hills would be a little stress relief after work. Thanks for all the feedback.
