    Dang orignally I would say "what pool?" ....but I'm guessing the house could already be recorded as having a pool, along with Google maps as proof If the city got bored and wanted to go picking on the OP.

      Drain, knock a couple of holes in the bottom, bust up decking and dump into pool, bust the beam of pool down about 12 inches and dump into pool, I would use sand to fill the first part of the pool, maybe even wet it down some so it will fill in all the crevices, then fill the rest with top soil, plant grass. One thing to consider, if and when you ever sell your home you will need to disclose that there is an underground pool in the back yard.
