Arlington location has signs out stating that guns and ammunition are not on sale. Kind of contradicts the other signs stating "whole store 10-30% off".

Just left the one in Beaumont. There is a reason they are going out of business...even their "closing sale" prices are a joke and still more expensive than academy's prices. Most of the items were only 10-20% off with a few items marked at 30%.

I was in the Sugarland store today looking to buy a rifle for about what I can get it for off of Buds. Not something that's in every store around town. It's marked down 10%, I asked the associate if they can haggle that or match Buds. He said no but one of the other stores in town is 15% off of guns...

He said every store is different and they don't know what the next sale will be till it comes out on Thursdays.

went to Austin one, crappy sale. Most of the reduced prices match or were beaten by a simple amazon lookup. Half the time Amazon price was already cheaper.

Went into the Beaumont store today and almost every item I was interested in with the sale price amazon was cheaper. Aggravated me so I'll be waiting around until they get truly ready to "sale" items

Yeah I went twice just to see if they actually improved the sales a bit. its okay if you want some clothes, otherwise mostly a waste of time. They'll probably end up auctioning off most of their inventory.

Same for the Lake Worth store. I saw a lot of people leaving empty handed. I bought some gunpowder, because on sale (15% OFF) it matched the LGS and Academy. Took some pics, and may go back when things get to 30-50% off. Amazon, eBay, and Academy are still killin' 'em! I don't see how Dink's stays in business. They may be next!

You must have went at the wrong times then. I got some hella good deals on North Face jackets (regular $190, walked out for $27) and quite a bit of other clothing items. You just had to keep going back and keep looking... early on, the discounts weren't great.

News this morning said up to 70 stores remaining open

Current inventories were sold to some company and Camping World bought intellectual rights to products under Gander name.

I don't see how the one in Tyler stays open, hardly any cars in the parking lot any time I have been by it
