Man that looks like a sweet day on the water. The Guadelupe is on my list to fish on my yak.

Hech yeah and congratulations on an awesome float!

          Fun fishing the Lupe!

Guadalupe Bass & Smallmouth - both species are extremely similar and they do cross breed. The Uppper Guadalupe where Smallies were introduced cross bred with Guadalupes, and both prefer tailwaters and moving water. They are strong swimmers since they prefer moving water setups.

Fun fish to target on ultralight or fly tackle.

Looking at the catch and release section (where they go by length only) it looks like you might have a record book fish for the Guadalupe

Congrats on the fish and best of luck with your chemo

Prayers sent for a full recovery on your battle with Lymphoma.

My buddy was getting em on some square cranks as well. I don't use them much since I always manage to get hooked on under water brush. That's why I like a weedless Texas rig so much.

Yeah I tossed a bigger one away no knowing the record. Then hooked on this one if front of a friend and he mentioned that to me. It is a CPR record though. I'll probly submit it soon.

Prayers up that you beat the crap out of the cancer!!

Yeah. People mention the tiger like markings on top and the obvious smaller mouth. All I know is near seguin. I just got invited and hopped in the truck with my friend not knowing what to expect. Lol

Yessir. I'll probably get it submitted. Sad part is I let a bigger one go without taking pics not knowing they didn't get much larger. Lol
