Don't know if they are in TX, but I had a plain glazed one from Southern Maid last week in Shreveport that was really good

They just opened a Krispy Kreme in Baytown. Those plain glazed are amazing.
I do like a glazed Shipley's if it's warm.

Hurts Donuts here in Frisco....vastly over rated.
The little shop run by asians who can't speak a lick of English...way better.

I like shipleys or daylight as a chain type donut. There is a place off wellborn in CS that has pretty good donuts. I want to try round rock after the thread the other day
