Salt blocks

Which ones do you guys use for deer. I don't own cattle so I'm not sure what is the difference in them. All I know are some are yellow and some are white. School me please.

white are salt, yellow are sulfur and brown are mineral.

I put out the mineral

We do put out Big and J blocks. A lot of people put out salt as well so I was thinking about trying it. My feeder is about 70yds from a pond so I thought it might be a good idea.

Like ticks. Our deer always seem to have ticks on their bellies.

Iv put them out and nothing touches them, the deer don't even look at them... Anybody else?

We put out the white one ( salt ) and trophy rock at each of our feeders.

Never had much luck with any salt blocks...trophy rock has had best activity during summer

I use mineral and pure salt...deer like both....we have aoudad as well which like both.

Trophy Rock is what I like to use. Deer love it and it lasts for months. Well worth the $$

Went to the property last week and in the pasture where the majority of cattle are in the ranch owner has salt blocks scattered around.I happened to drive down there and when I arrived there were 6 deer on 2 of the blocks which were in close proximity to each other.

Same here with white and yellow. I put them out together and the only thing that made them go down was the rain. The deer never even looked at them.
