You were correct, i think they left today sometime, I can just see momma and 11 little ones walking down the busy streets of Southlake, hope they made it to one of the ponds around here, think i will do a little scouting to see if they did.
Cool. I hope they make it too. Let us know if you see them around. I'm glad the problem solved itself.
Now i have a baby screech owl on my front porch, it fell from an owl box that we put up, we built another small box and hung it several feet from the other, put it in it last night after dark, that lasted ten minutes and he was back on my window sill on front porch, this morning it was on my wife 's front tire of her car, we put it in a cage to protect it, guess i will call some rescue place and see if they will come and get it. Oh and the babay ducks showed up a few blocks away on one of my wife's students swimming pool, what are the odds of that ?

I agree get a floating alligator decoy. We had the same problem and our gator ("Mr. Teeth," as the kids call him) has kept them all out. He's also worked for the raccoons too which would sometimes poop in the pool. Worst animals in the world. Also scared the crap out of my brother in law the first time he saw it which was worth it just for that. Here's good guide to them: http://www.gardenandpatiohomeguide.c...r-decoy-guide/
So we have a pair of mallards that been camping on our pool, they been coming every year now for a few years, we get home from the weekend at the lake and we have 11 new baby ducks swimming in the pool, what in tarnation are we to do now ? I mean they are really cute and all but they nake a heck of a mess if you know what i mean.
