Anybody else not flung an arrow yet?

Had 4 doe come by when doe season was over and had a good 8 walk directly under the stand while I was hanging it but bow was on the ground. Moved my stands today so I'm looking forward to getting one in the morning! I am a true believer in "A bad day hunting is better than a good day at work." The other one is "can't get'em by sitting on the couch." Good Luck to all.

I did fling one arrow opening morning of archery season. Took a doe. Since then I haven't hardly seen anything at my feeders or on trails. Not many pics either...
We have'em there, just not any bow shots. I took a friend yesterday morning to shoot a doe with a rifle (he did by the way), and his wife took her first deer (a doe w/30.06) this morning.
I'm hoping I don't have to bring out the rifle to get another doe before season is over...

I think I am going to continue my strategy of not hunting the feeders. We have 200 acre wheat field that has about 8 different trails leading into it from the brush. In the afternoons I've been setting up on those trails 100 yards or so from the wheat, trying to catch them staging. So far I've always picked the wrong trail. It's just going to take lots of sits and some dumb luck, I reckon...

This is my first year bow hunting and I have not let an arrow fly yet. It will happen though..

this is my first season as a hunter and I've taken a shot on 4 hogs and killing 3. I'll be hunting the last 3 weekends of the season and still looking for a decent first buck to take. I'll take a doe nonetheless- i got to kill me a deer this year.

Only hogs so far. Had a couple close calls, but haven't drawn on a deer yet. I let a few walk that I could have shot. Either not legal or just too young.

Missed one hog, killed one hog and shot another with tons of blood, but no hog. Have not seen but one deer worth shooting and he stayed on the opposite side of my feed pen.
