How high is just high enough?

15 to 20ft is about perfect. I wouldn't do less that 12ft here in east Texas.

As said, adjust to the cover, around here you go 15' and your gonna look like a big camo buzzard sittin' on top of a cedar bush.

As high as physically possible. I'll take 40' when I can get it. Feeder was at 25 yards.

My blind is at 8 feet but windows can be closed

I use my climber and hang ons 18 to 25 feet up

I have a stand that's only eight feet of the ground to the seat, and it's been my best now stand so far. Surround by evergreens, with a nice Lane to the feeder.

Have two others between 10-15 ft, and one at about 25... But it's thirty yards from the feeder, and not very well covered. I see deer from it, but can't move to draw.

In my experience cover is more important than height. Just my two cents.
