I agree with a lot of answers but these are the two biggest for me. Other than camo, I mostly own and wear jeans. My jeans aren't nearly as comfortable or functional when climbing through brush or any other situation in the outdoors. I don't mind ripping my camo or getting blood on it. Not so much with my jeans.

Now if I was hunting in a blind where I can pull up in a vehicle, jump out and hunt enclosed without much stress, I would (and have) wear some older jeans. Most of the time that simply is not true and my camo is my "hunting clothes" just like BDU's for the military.

Well I wear blue carhart overalls hunting and have never had any issues including sneaking up on critters. And I am not a small guy. Only time I wear camo is to work and its a shirt from Bucees.

I would imagine that all of those TV personalities have endorsement deals that require them to wear specific clothes while hunting.

LOL! I'm in my office right now wearing a brush country button up camo shirt.

I like camo and wear it a lot. One good thing about camo is that people don't usually argue with someone wearing camouflage, well except maybe those who wonder why we wear it.

Because the electa blue shirt and chartreuse pants didn't go with my brown hunting boots.

I have proved on numerous occasions that hunting in the nude produces the proper UV spectrum for animals not to pay attention to ya.

I like to sneak around when I'm not sitting in my blind. Sometimes I sneak from one blind to another.

I wear camo in a tree or tripod. If I have some non camo clothing that's scent free, I'll wear it in a box blind, if not I'll don my camo.

When's the last time you sat in a stand btw?

I wear it so I can walk right up to the deer and kill it with a 2"x3' club. don't have to track them.

Maybe you will need to hide from the GW after you leave the blind

I prefer darker camo patterns. They are harder to see in the headlights or by spotlight/flashlight, especially when hiding the the ditch next to the road.

To cause threads like this in the off season.

Turkey, squirrel, or duck hunting...gotta have it.

Deer hunting I usually just pick something durable/appropriate for whatever the weather happens to be. We have to wear blaze orange during any open firearms season, so that makes it a mute point. Don't move and game won't see you.
