    Yes it is. How ever the real rock rose has yellow flowers. Rock rose for this one is a name madr popular by nurseries. It's real name is rock pavonia.

      There is actually some growing in the Lake Way area out by Lake Travis. And of course, there are a few along the Trail of the Madrones road in West Lake Hills.
