Do you have more pictures of your yard? I'd like to see the garden look all the way around. Sounds nicer than st. Augustine

In on this- I enjoy learning flora and fauna and would like to learn about what is edible and in what fashion.

              X2

I'm trying to integrate natives and replace others.

For those in Nort Dallas area, this place is pretty great, they are in Frisco:

As the go-to full-service garden center in Frisco, TX, we offer all of your gardening and plant nursery needs, in addition to tree planting and landscaping services.

No problem. I have no grass, don't even own a lawn mower any more. This is a kid paradise and I love people bringing their kids by. They love climbing on the rocks and playing in the 7 water gardens and running down all the paths and trails.

That is False Mesquite Calliandra. Most ranches I've hunted that had it, called it Huajillo. It's not but it's close.

I'm slowly doing the same thing to my front yard Draco.

Those leaves look like it could be some kind of nightshade.
