Man I remember the days of the TAX test. I believe I spelled that incorrectly....

Test was a completely waste of time and easy. Heard that is not the case with the new test.

My wife works as an administrator at an elementary school. She told me the test that the 3rd graders take is the equivalent of a test we would have taken in junior high when we were kids(in the 80s). So yeah, it is harder than it used to be.

I am an Elementary teacher. 91 is correct. These tests are no joke! Kids are learning stuff by 5th grade we didn't do until early high school in math and science!

My wife is a elementary principal. She got up in a different mood this morning. I was confused until she told me it was STAAR day. I should send her some flowers and vodka.

And I would like to tell the students, and my wife who is an elementary principal good luck!!!! She has STAAR tests today and I had to call her and tell her that her dog has to be put down today due to incurable illness!!!!

Our son is in the second grade so we have one more year and our daughter is in private school so no starr test for her.

It was the TAAS test when I was in school.

Only problem with standardized testing is that schools teach to a test. They should have more freedoms as teachers, within a wider curriculum, IMO. Obviously that could get political, which would be bad too.

Good luck, glad it's more challenging than it use to be.
