Any other shift workers get extremely bored on their days off? I use to have a buddy that worked the same schedule as me but he got swapped to another shift. What do y'all do on your days off? I complete all my yard work and other projects then the rest of long change is a bore

I work 3 nights a week 7p-7a. My days off can be a killer. Sometimes I'll schedule myself to be off for 8 days in a row and I go crazy.

Buy a boat and get to fishing. I wish I had days off during the week. Best time to fish is Monday-Thursday.

Or like today... drive 2 hours to Whitehouse for a HS baseball game...

BBQ , play golf, make beer, go fishing , Archery range, gun range and once a while I take care of my honey do list

I work compressed a compressed shift, front half of the week, 7am-7pm. I started making knives to take up my free time. Boredom was killing me.

I live about 20 miles to the coast, 35 miles to Sabine,(awesome fishing both places) 15 mins to hog hunting, 1 hr 10 mins to my camp, 2 hours to Toledo and Rayburn. My wife has a long hunnydo list that I can't seem to find time for.

When I'm on my 4 day hitch(coming up on long change) I'm making a list. Otherwise I'm gonna look back and wonder how I was off that long and got nothing done.

I work 2 days a week and every other weekend, 48 hour shift. Like having days off during the week when everybody else is working!!!!

No kidding! I am so far behind on stuff I need to do ( and want to do ) I feel like I will never catch up. Would kill for some actual days off. When I workef for Baker I worked 3 on 4 off. Loved it!

I worked it for years and when I was off yes it happened a lot. Not so much during hunting season. Off season when I was off I was always saving money for the upcoming season so I tied to work as many of my off days as they would let me. [emoji51]

I had a boat when I worked 5 days a week well we sold it due to never having time to take it out now I'm always off and wife says wait on getting a boat. I've been thinking of getting into clay shooting again since I have two ranges right by the house and figured I'd go to my dads and put his shop to use start building some stuff.
