I didn't know 32% of young men identified as girls.
"And so, it’s official: bird-watching is the new must-have string to the millennial’s bow. Once regarded as the preserve of middle-aged men wearing complementary shades of olive and beige, a nationwide survey of Britain’s hobbies and interests has discovered that 32 per cent of men aged between 16 to 25 have been birding."
It is right to think of H when thinking about birds, since H was established and is maintained for the birds, deer are simply a by-product. Birders represent the greatest number of organized volunteers at the refuge. In fact, dedicated non-hunters are some of the longest serving volunteers on the refuge...that also understand the value the managed harvests represent. So please, as a resident and a outdoorsman...please show the same respect that would if you were a guest at friends ranch around their family. We're all there for the love of the outdoors, be a positive example.
One of the things I miss about not getting to hunt our place we had out West any longer... There were more different kinds of birds on that place than anywhere else I've ever hunted... Saw some strange ones over the years... probably strangest was parakeet and coolest was the Green Jays... Once saw a snow goose flying along the river (Rio Grande)... He for sure was lost! Widest variety of ducks there that I ever saw... First duck with a bow was a drake wood duck!! In WEST TEXAS! I'd have never guessed there would have been woodies out there!
