67 and I was ready. Best advice I got was this...think of it as not retiring from something, but retiring to something. You have got to keep busy, have a plan!

I have five more years to go before I retire at the age of 52. House is paid off and only one kid left in college that graduates this May. I will retire from public education and draw my paycheck and either move out of state to work or work in private education in order to double dip on the pay checks. My trips to Vegas will go from 3 times a year to hopefully 10 times a year.
