Well the "immigrants" had a day off yesterday, so maybe all those dreamers were just trying to make up for a day of lost funds?

You are correct - that is odd. Not the normal at all.

Same here. At least 6 times in the last 30 years.

Same thing happening around us. Small town that are too trusting and they just walk up and down streets pulling on car doors handles.

Question for the green screen. Can anyone run a license plate number for me? PM me if you can and are willing to help. Thanks!
It would help if you told us what neighborhood you live in, so we'd know to be on the lookout. I get up early to fish on weekends, and one of these days, I'm going to run into them.

Now that people can have up to 4 oz. of marijuana in harris county, expect the car and home burglaries to up exponentially. The fear of arrest is no longer there. People think that legalizing drugs will be great for crime reduction. Nope. Do they think smokers and other users that don't have the money to spend on drugs will magically stop burglarizing and robbing? Nope.

I live in waters edge and have friends in lakeshore and they have had similar breaks in. Cops told me summer wood has been hit hard also. So from the beltway to 1960 be on the look out.

I'm assuming you are in the Houston area? The crime in Houston seems out-of-control, as compared to other major cities in Texas. I hate thieves.

There's obviously a lead deficiency in the area that needs addressing.

I had a similar problem years ago. Seemed every couple months someone would brake my window out and go through my truck. Never took any thing as I made sure to never leave anything in there. But I got tired of replacing windows. So I bought a motion detector from Home Depot and placed the battery motion portion of it in my truck and had the receiver end of it in my bedroom, which would be a beeping alarm. Had a few false calls, cat one night and not sure of a couple of the others. But one night it went off and I looked out the window and thought I saw a flicker of light in side. So I grabed a bat and made a beeline out the front door, as I got to the truck one guy took off out the drivers side and another was getting out the passenger side, I missed when I swung the bat and it turned in to a foot chase. I was bare foot and in my under ware. I caught him at the street light at the end of the street and proceeded to beat the tar out of him. He wouldn't get back up on his feet so I drug him back to the house and called pd. They arrived and the kid was going to sue me for punching him. But the cop said he did fight back right. Of course yes. Unfortunately he was a minor and the cops said he would be out before daylight and doing the same thing the next night. But while we waited for the cops I told him I was sick of people braking in to my ****. And he got the blunt end of it. He admitted to me they had broke in to my truck regularly. Have not had to much trouble lately. Those alarm things are pretty cheap and you can silence the part in your truck so they don't know it goes off. It only lasted a couple years and quit working but it got the job done when I needed it to. Some thing you might consider trying if you want to catch them red handed. We can't shoot nobody here after dark for braking in to vehicle or there would have been one less thief in this world, and I would have had him before he had time to reproduce more of his type.

Do you have a link to the model you purchased?

My HOA drives around and takes photos of houses during the day. So do Realtors in the area. I have stopped a few and questioned them. I understand what they are doing, but it doesn't look good.

You are going to have to catch one and bash his face in so the word will spread. Cops really don't care and don't have time.
